Connecting your Games console to your Television
With the latest games consoles on the market, there are many different options of connecting your console to the television.
For specific connection details, you should refer to the user manual of the games console.
On the most popular games consoles where end users have called the helpline, we have compiled a simple instruction sheet for connecting these.
For non High Definition consoles, the easiest way to connect is via SCART or AV. This includes X Box, Wii, Playstation and Playstation 2.
For High Definition consoles, the best way to connect to enjoy optimum quality is via HDMi. (Where fitted) This includes some models of Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
For High Definition models without HDMi connection, for example earlier models of X Box 360, the best way to connect is either via SCART adaptor or alternatively via Component / Y Pr Pb although you may need to purchase an additional adaptor or connecting cable for Audio.
See the instructions below for the most popular ways to connect. If you have any questions or comments, please email us to firstname.lastname@example.org You can download this instruction sheet here. You will need Adobe Reader in order to open the file.
